The Connection Calmer
In this video, I’ll talk you through the first step of The Connection Calmer for children aged 1 - 8 years that you can trial with your child this evening. This step might surprise you - you’ll love it though, I promise!
It’s a 3 minute video with captions so you can watch quietly if you’ve got a small person sleeping close by!
If you’d like to chat things through, feel free to book in a call with me below. This call can be an opportunity for you to tell me about your sleep journey so far, as well as your goals. I’ll be able to give you some suggestions on how you could reach your sleep goals by taking a stepped and gentle approach, and help you consider the best way forward.
Testimonials
“We’ve had an ongoing problem with our daughters sleep since she was 18 months old. Three years later and still struggling with it, we found Sleep For All.
Louise has been fantastic. Having spoken to paediatricians, doctors and sleep consultants, Louise stands out as by far the best in terms of her knowledge, ideas, and her empathy. We felt understood and cared for as she looked for creative ways to help ease the problem that was affecting us all very deeply.
Louise didn’t just look at our daughter’s sleep but all aspects of our lives that could contribute to her (and us) getting more rest. We highly recommend Louise and her gentle caring holistic approach to sleep problems.

“Everyone I know is aware of how sleep deprived I have been off late (and for the last few years!) due to my incessant moaning 🤪😂
I finally decided to recruit some professional help and last week had a one to one call with Louise from Sleep For All after reading the testimonials on her website and seeing her gentle approach.
I never thought I would be able to write this post, but in only one week and with no distress for Jac, I have gone from having a 16 month old who woke every 3-4 hours and still crying for/drinking 3 x bottles overnight to last night - Jac slept 7.15pm - 5.20am - 6.45am! 1 x bottle which the next step is to start reducing volume.
I genuinely feel like a new woman for such a huge chunk of unbroken sleep! Don’t get me wrong I was up at 4am checking if he was alive.
Massive thanks to Louise, having her on the end of the phone just to discuss and sound out an evolving plan has been priceless.”

Breastfeeding at night is completely normal and natural, but everyone has their limits, and if you’ve been feeding every hour or two at night for months on end, it’s not surprising that you’re exhausted.
Firstly, if your baby is under 6 months and you’re feeding hourly, I’d recommend that you speak to an IBCLC (lactation consultant). Sometimes, sleep issues are a symptom of a feeding problem such as a shallow latch, tongue tie, reflux or allergy, so it’s important to ensure that there aren’t any underlying issues at play.
If you’re happy that your child is generally feeding well, but their night feeds feel too frequent, then I can help you with this. You don’t need stop breastfeeding completely or introduce formula in order to improve sleep.
When we work together, I’ll talk you through gentle strategies you can use to help optimise your child’s sleep and increase the chances of them sleeping for longer stretches at night. As well as this, I can talk you through methods you can use to gently introduce other ways of settling, so that you can have an alternative to feeding when your child wakes. Also, if your partner has previously struggled to settle your child (which is really common), I can talk them through strategies that they can use, so that night time parenting can be shared between you a little more and some of the weight lifted off your shoulders.

You’re definitely not alone - lots of parents reach out when they are about to return to work. I have extensive experience in supporting parents through this transition.
If this is where you’re at, I would recommend my Gold package. With this, we can take things in stages, and work at a pace that is right for both you and your child. We’ll often start with focusing on optimising sleep as much as possible, with a particular focus on attachment, and supercharging your little one’s buckets of love and attention before bed. Often these small changes can bring about big positive changes to the night.
From here, if needed, we can work on reducing feeds or introducing alternative settling methods. I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way with limitless support, helping you both get the sleep you need so that you feel your best entering this new chapter in life!

This is exactly why I offer a month of support with the Gold package.
Over the course of a month, it’s inevitable that there will be a runny nose, and illness or a tooth coming through. With a month of support, I’ll be able to help you navigate the ups and downs that can affect your child’s sleep, so that you feel confident to handle these challenges as your child gets older.
If your child is more seriously ill (e.g. has a high temperature), we can pause the month of support, and restart when your child is better again.
-
Yes, it is! I know how much parents value this support, and this is why I make it limitless for the month. During the course of the month that we’re working together, you can book in as many calls as you need. We can use these calls to review your successes, talk through any challenges you’ve experienced, and discuss next steps.
As well as limitless telephone support, we’ll set up a what’s app group set so that you can stay in touch on a day to day basis. I’ll reply to messages as soon as possible, (always within 12 hours), giving you access to all the information you need as you put your plan into place. With this, you won’t need to do any late night Googling and you can feel confident knowing you’ve got an expert by your side as you put your plan into place.

If you want to make changes either to where your baby sleeps, how you are settling them, or how you respond in the night, I’d suggest you have at least 3-4 weeks where you can be at home at night and be consistent in your approach.
However, I know that 3-4 weeks can feel like a lifetime when you’re utterly exhausted! So, if you’d like to make a start on some easier tweaks that are likely to make a positive impact straight away, you can book your sleep package now and have the initial consultation straight away. During this call, we can discuss the easier changes you can make now, so that you can start making progress straight away. As well as helping you get some quick results, we’ll also be able to talk through some strategies to help sleep happen as easily as possible while you’re away.
If you book a Gold package, you can pause the support while you’re away, and get started back when you’re home to make the bigger changes to the middle of the night settling. If you book a Young baby package, you can use your follow up calls when you get home. With this, you get the best of both worlds! It’s worked really well for families that I’ve done this with before. If you’d like to talk it through before booking, just book a discovery call and we can discuss your plans.
