Baby sleep consultant

Sleep coaching packages for 0-12 months

Adjusting to life as a new parent is an amazing journey, but it definitely has tough times. Frequent feeding and fragmented sleep is the biological norm, but as parents, we are bombarded with so much advice, especially about sleep, that it can be easy to start doubting ourselves and wonder whether we are doing things 'right'.

If what you are doing feels right for you at the moment, and works, then carry on. Don't worry about whether you might be making a rod for your own back. Sleep routines and habits can be adjusted if needed as your child grows.

However, if things are feeling tough, or if you would simply like to learn more about normal sleep behaviour, and how you might be able to optimise sleep for your family, then I’m here to help.

I have 3 sleep support packages for babies aged from 0-12 months. If you’re unsure which package is right for you, feel free to book a free discovery call and we can talk it through. I’m looking forward to chatting!

Gold package

6 months +

1.5 hour online sleep consultation + bespoke sleep plan + 1 month of limitless telephone coaching & text support from Louise

£395

This is my most popular children’s sleep support package, giving parents access to unlimited telephone support for 1 month after their initial sleep consultation. It is perfect for parents who are about to return to work and want to do so knowing that both they and their child are going to be sleeping well.

Typical sleep issues I help with include:

  • Dependence on being rocked to sleep

  • Dependence on being fed to sleep

  • Frequent night waking

  • Transition from co-sleeping

  • Difficulty settling to sleep

  • Nap resistancnce.

This online sleep support package will give you the knowledge, confidence and support you need to help improve your child's sleep at a pace that’s right for you.

We'll start with a comprehensive review of your goals, your child's sleep challenges, and their overall health and well-being. If needed, we'll do some detective work to identify the issues that might be affecting their sleep.

With this understanding in place, I can talk you through the most appropriate and effective strategies and routines that will help you achieve your sleep goals.

Following our consultation, I'll write a bespoke sleep plan for your baby. This will include suggestions for daytime routines and activities (if appropriate), a positive bedtime routine, as well as a summary of the techniques we have discussed for helping to settle your baby to sleep at the start of the night and during the night.

Over the course of the month, I’ll be alongside you the whole way. The Gold package includes 1 month of unlimited telephone coaching and support. As a minimum, I suggest we speak at least once a week. This will give use the opportunity to discuss your progress and talk through the steps you can take in the week ahead to help you meet your sleep goals. If you want to speak more, then that’s great. The more we speak, the more support I can give you, and the quicker you’ll meet your sleep goals.

As well as unlimited telephone support, you’ll have access to daily what’s app support. I’ll be on hand to answer questions, suggest tweaks to the plan, provide you with reassurance, celebrate successes, as well as keep you going through the tougher times. I know that it’s this support that parents really value, and this is why I don’t put a limit on how many support calls or messages I provide during this time.

What’s included:

✓ Full analysis of your 3-day sleep diary and questionnaire (pre consultation)

✓ A 90 minute 1:1 consultation via Zoom.

✓ A recording of your sleep consultation to listen back to in future.

✓ A bespoke sleep plan emailed to you within 48 hours.

✓ Limitless telephone coaching for 1 month.

✓ Daily what’s app support for 1 month.

FAQs

I don’t want to stop breastfeeding completely, but I’m feeding every hour at night at the moment and I can’t carry on like this.  Can you help me?

Breastfeeding at night is completely normal and natural, but everyone has their limits, and if you’ve been feeding every hour or two at night for months on end, it’s not surprising that you’re exhausted.

Firstly, if your baby is under 6 months and you’re feeding hourly, I’d recommend that you speak to an IBCLC (lactation consultant). Sometimes, sleep issues are a symptom of a feeding problem such as a shallow latch, tongue tie, reflux or allergy, so it’s important to ensure that there aren’t any underlying issues at play.

If you’re happy that your child is generally feeding well, but their night feeds feel too frequent, then I can help you with this. You don’t need stop breastfeeding completely or introduce formula in order to improve sleep.

When we work together, I’ll talk you through strategies to help optimise your child’s sleep and increase the chances of them sleeping for longer stretches at night. As well as this, I’ll talk you through methods you can use to gently introduce other ways of settling, so that you can have an alternative to feeding when your child wakes. Also, if your partner has previously struggled to settle your child (which is really common), I can talk them through strategies that they can use, so that  night time parenting can be shared between you a little more and some of the weight lifted off your shoulders.

We’ve got a holiday booked soon. Shall we start working on sleep now, or is it better to wait until we get back?

If you want to make changes either to where your baby sleeps, how you are settling them, or how you respond in the night, I’d suggest you have at least 3-4 weeks where you can be at home at night and be consistent in your approach.

However, I know that 3-4 weeks can feel like a lifetime when you’re utterly exhausted! So, if you’d like to make a start on some easier tweaks that are likely to make a positive impact straight away, you can book your sleep package now and have the initial consultation straight away. During this call, we can discuss the easier changes you can make now, so that you can start making progress straight away. As well as helping you get some quick results, we’ll also be able to talk through some strategies to help sleep happen as easily as possible while you’re away.

If you book a Gold package, you can pause the support while you’re away, and get started back when you’re home to make the bigger changes to the middle of the night settling. If you book a Young baby package, you can use your follow up calls when you get home. With this, you get the best of both worlds! It’s worked really well for families that I’ve done this with before. If you’d like to talk it through before booking, just book a discovery call and we can discuss your plans.

My baby is about to start nursery, and I’m about to start work - will it be too much to do sleep coaching at the same time?

You’re definitely not alone - lots of parents reach out at the 8-12 month stage when they are about to return to work and I have extensive experience in supporting parents through this transition.

I would recommend my Gold package. With this, we can take things in stages, and work at a pace that is right for both you and your child. We’ll often start with focusing on optimising sleep as much as possible, with a particular focus on attachment, and supercharging your little one’s buckets of love and attention before bed. Often these small changes can bring about big positive changes to the night. From here, if needed, we can work on reducing feeds or introducing alternative settling methods. I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way with limitless support, helping you both get the sleep you need so that you feel your best entering this new chapter in life!

If I book the Gold package, what would happen if my child became ill during the month of support?

This is exactly why I offer a month of support with the Gold package. Over the course of a month, it’s inevitable that there will be a runny nose, and illness or a tooth coming through.  With a month of support, I’ll be able to help you navigate the ups and downs that can affect your child’s sleep, so that you feel confident to handle these challenges as your child gets older. If your child is more seriously ill (e.g. has a high temperature), we can pause the month of support, and restart when your child is better again.

Is your support really limitless with the Gold package?

Yes, it is! I know how much parents value this support, and this is why I make it limitless for the month. During the course of the month that we’re working together, you can book in as many calls as you need. We can use these calls to review your successes, talk through any challenges you’ve experienced, and agree actions to take forward.

As well as telephone support, we’ll have a what’s app group set up so that you can stay in touch on a day to day basis. I’ll reply to messages as soon as possible, (always within 12 hours), giving you access to all the information you need as you put your plan into place.

Unsure which package is right for you?

No worries! Let’s chat - we can talk through where you’re at with sleep at the moment, and what your goals are. I’ll tell you which package I think will be a best fit for you, and answer any questions you have. To arrange a call, you can either book a time directly in my diary here, or complete the form below and I’ll call you within 24 hours.

Not quite the right time?

I get it - sometimes, even when nights are tough, it might not be the right time at the moment to make bigger changes. Let’s stay in touch though - if you pop your email below, I’ll send you some suggestions of small steps you could take to help optimise your baby’s sleep, and help you get get more Zzz.
